The Wedding Crashers Tour was definitely one for the books this year- between the unbelievable spring-like weather and awe-inspiring vendor teams, we couldn’t have asked for anything better. The day kicked off at the brand new event space at the Bon Secours Washington Redskins Training Center which was decked out with hot pink uplighting, awesome decor by Paisley & Jade and Classic Party Rentals of Virginia, and amazing brunch bites catered by Mosaic Catering + Events. As guests arrived they were welcomed by fifteen different sponsor booths where they could engage in everything from a lash bar by Elle Style Studio, cute/local Virginia made products from Trend, to a fun, prop friendly photo op by Richmond Photobooth! After a small introduction by Jessica Maida and Amanda Robinson, the creators of the tour, and a surprise giveaway by Diamond’s Direct guests were ready to hop on the buses provided by Winn Transportation and start their wedding crashing adventure!

The Hofheimer, Hilton Richmond Downtown and The Branch Museum of Architecture and Design were the three venues showcased this year. Each stop was just as jaw dropping as the next! The vendor teams couldn’t have done a better job of utilizing their designated space and creating the best representation of each venue for these newly engaged couples to envision using on their big day. Upon their return to the host venue, guests were given swag bags full of awesome goodies, a chance to vote for their favorite venue and another grand prize giveaway from Diamond’s Direct. The day ended with cocktails and rooftop celebrations at Quirk Hotel where we announced the winning venue and vendor team, as well as gave out one last prize to a lucky couple in attendance.

All of us here at¬†Glint Events couldn’t be any happier to be a part of such a unique and successful event- especially one that allows us to work and collaborate with so many talented local vendors all at once!
