A Williamsburg Getaway
We love Richmond, like absolutely love Richmond - however, when we get to travel outside of our stomping grounds to celebrate one of the most snazzy, fun and loving couples, we cannot contain our excitement! Amy and Rob are based in North Carolina but decided to have their wedding in Williamsburg, Virginia. Guest traveled into historic Williamsburg, which was a city that Amy and Rob had quite a bit of history in - shout out to William & Mary! They picked Two Rivers Country Club to host their special day, and if you haven't visited you should - you'd be surrounded by beautiful waters and the sunsets...my goodness are amazing!
We are extremely excited to reminisce, so here are just a memorable highlights we had on their wedding day!
The personalization - This wedding was beautiful and absolutely encompassed their personalities and styles. From walking down the aisle to a song from Hamilton played by Jamestown Quartet, to wedding cheesecakes and subtle nods to their travels, everything was beautifully captured to represent the two of them. It was extremely wonderful to witness and be a part of - shout out to all the amazing vendors that went above and beyond! Check out the full list of vendors below!
Dressing to the nines - Amy's dress from Hayden Olivia Bridal made the already stunning bride absolutely sparkle. It's always so amazing to watch brides spin 'oh so magically' in their dream gown [keep reading to catch those action shots]. Rob on the other hand looked dapper as ever in a traditional tux and then during the couples introduction, he came out in an all black velvet jacket #yaass!
Legendary dance moves - When we say legendary we mean LEGENDARY! Amy and Rob's first dance was definitely one for the books. It was a choreographed dance that got everyone's attention - no one could pull their eyes away! There were spins, dips, and even lifts!!! It was really something special but we think dance moves must run in their family because even the parent dances were out of this world!
