Stephanie and Joel's Main Street Station Wedding
When planning weddings, who we work with looks different from wedding to wedding. For some, we're right in there with the couple, working together, presenting options and helping them weigh their options as a team. For others, it's more of a one-on-one experience. We get to know one of the partners really well as we work together on their planning. The other pops in from time to time and weighs in on his or her priorities, but it's not until the wedding week that we really get to know them.
And then there are some, where we get to work with the entire family. Stephanie and Joel's wedding was one of those. While the couple knew exactly what they wanted, it was Stephanie's mom Carolyn and Joel's Mom Betsy who I got to work the closest with! Getting to know the extended family members allows us to even better understand the couple, what's important to them, and plan an event that reflects their relationship.
