Capital One Celebration

We were given the opportunity to work with Capital One and plan their Marketing Department's end of the year celebration. From virtual reality experiences, digital caricaturists and photo booths on wheels to food trucks galore- if there's one thing we've learned it's that Capital One knows how to throw a killer party!

Throughout the entire planning process this department had nothing but their employee's best interest at hand. The whole day was intended to lead their team from one surprise to the next, starting with a field trip to volunteer at various schools in the area to a blow out party at the end. The Frontier Project in Scott's Addition, which is where the event was held, could not have been more perfect for the occasion with its exposed brick walls and industrial vibe. To top it all off, we were able to completely transform the area to create the effect of two different spaces in one. As guests entered through the doorway they were left with the decision to go left and enter a cozy, bistro lit ambience with a plethora of food and drinks all the while sitting down to relax and try their hand at classic board games, or go right into the blue and purple hues of light as they experience pure nostalgia through old school arcade games like skee ball, air hockey, and Ms. Pac-Man.

Being able to see the looks of surprise and excitement on their employee's faces as they walked into the event space was one for the books and it's what makes this job so worth it in the end. We hope you take a moment to visit the photo gallery and see for yourself, and huge thanks to Ethan Hickerson for providing so many wonderful shots!
