Charlotte and Ben's Simply Elegant Wedding

Charlotte and Ben’s day was full of a love that could be felt throughout the walls at the Country Club of Virginia. The weather forecast for this January 2024 wedding was not ideal, with a threat of rain throughout the day. Our couple wasn’t worried - thanks to the bottle of bourbon they buried, the weather held off until the very end of the reception, allowing their day to unfold seamlessly, with every detail falling into place with perfection.

Simply Elegant

Simple elegance defined every aspect of their celebration, with a palette of creams and whites, with the occasional pop of pink florals, lending an air of timeless romance to the day. Surrounded by their closest friends and family, the couple exchanged beautifully personal vows that made everyone in the room teary eyed.

The couple was able to take advantage of a variety of photo backdrops throughout the venue, both indoor and outdoor, providing them with hundreds of memorable moments captured in time. The bridal suite was the perfect backdrop for the ladies to get ready in, matching the timeless vibe of the entire night. The couple opted for a stationed dinner allowing some of their favorite foods and CCV staples to be sampled.

Simply Spectacular

As the formalities gave way to celebration, the party that ensued was nothing short of spectacular. The lights were dimmed and the DJ kicked the party off with some of the couple’s favorite songs from college. All guests, old and young, were seen on the dance floor. Light up hats and glasses were passed out to the guests and staff, adding an extra layer of joy to the atmosphere with everyone involved in the wedding taking part of the fun.

Simply Happily Ever After

Charlotte and Ben were a part of every aspect of planning their special day, staying meticulously organized and utilizing the Glint Events team as expert guides. For the Glint team, this was one of the smoothest and happiest weddings we’ve had the pleasure of planning. The love between not only the couple, but amongst their friends and family was contagious.

Charlotte and Ben's January wedding was a testament to the enduring power of love, a beacon of warmth and happiness that illuminated even on a cold January day. We are so grateful to Charlotte and Ben for allowing us to be a part of their special day and wish them the happiest of anniversaries to come!
