A Timeless and Bright Wedding at the Family Home for Savannah and Clayton

We absolutely LOVE planning events on private properties, but especially ones at family homes. This home, belonging to that of the bride’s family, had seen many weddings before this one — including the bride’s own parents. It was an incredibly special location for such a special event!

As a running, working farm, this property was pulling double duty!

We were SO sure this event would see rain, but it ended up being an absolutely beautiful day.

Guests were greeted with a picturesque reception following the ceremony.

A sailcloth tent and a brown and white checkered dance floor set off the classic vibe of this family focused event.

The energy was high all night

Toast after toast made it clear how much these two were loved. A JMU football player and cheerleader couple, we did a streamer toss during the reception to celebrate their roots - just like they do at games! At the end of the night, Savannah and Clayton had an epic send off in a helicopter, with their family and friends all around them to say farewell!
